Reflections

The annual PTA Reflections Arts Program has officially begun! This year's theme is: “What My Culture Means to Me”

Culture can include family traditions, heritage, religion, school, friendships, community, interests, and the experiences that shape who we are. Students are invited to reflect on what culture means to them and express their ideas through an original work of art.

Students may enter in the following categories:

Visual Arts: drawing, painting, collage, or mixed media

3-Dimensional Art

Photography: color or black-and-white

Literature: short stories, poetry, or essays

Music Composition: original music submitted as sheet music or an audio recording

Dance Choreography: an original solo or group performance

All artwork must be created by the student. Parents and others may offer encouragement, but the ideas and creative work should be the student’s own.

Submission Deadline: Thursday, October 1

How to Enter: Entries must be original works created by one student. Detailed category rules, formatting requirements, and the digital entry form are available at utahpta.org/ref.
